Hearing Dogs For Deaf People
Nearly 9 million of the UK population experience some degree of hearing loss. That is 1 in 7 over 650,000 of these people are severely or profoundly deaf and could benefit from a hearing dog.
Hearing Dogs For Deaf People trains and places canines with persons who are deaf or hard of hearing at no cost.
The border volunteer group goes to various events to help raise funds buy selling promotional items and also raise awareness of the charity.

We will be raising funds for the Borders Donkey Sanctuary at St Boswells with a tombola stall in the Table Top Tent.

lauderlass.jpg Judi will be be operating an animal behaviour clinic as well as providing creative activities for children. Judi has recently taken an abused mare into her care and will have a collection box for donations for her upkeep. Donations from Lauderdale residents have helped to save this horse, so she has been renamed Lauderdale Lass. Read more...
