The Dogs Allowed doggie fun weekend is a weekend of fun and entertainment for dog owners, enthusiasts, and people of all ages - with a focus on participation.

Events where you can participate with your dog include: dog most like owner competition, gun dog scurry and waggiest tail competition. There is also a jog-with-your-dog event.
Dogs Allowed is held in the historic grounds of Thirlestane Castle, by kind permission of the Trustees of Thirlestane Castle..
As you can imagine, having many dogs about could easily get out of hand so we ask that our guests follow the following three rules:
1.Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.
2.Dogs must be dog and human friendly.
3.You must scoop your dog's poop (bags and bins provided).
Refreshments and covered seating are available at the Hog Roast, Hot Food Bar, Beer Tent and Children's Dry Bar.
We invite you to spend a weekend at Dogs Allowed, enjoying the performances and events on offer, talking to other dog enthusiasts, and enjoying the beautiful grounds and setting of Thirlestane castle.
